After our two weeks of fairly constant driving, relaxing for the last week has been a good break, but also a big break from the new norms of van life. I have already noticed that I can find most things I need in the van quite easily, but staying under a guest roof, with only a handful of things from the van has been almost confusing for a bear of little brain 🧠 like me.
Tippi however, she’s happy to take her meals wherever she is. Just need to say “Din dins?” And she gets so animated that she slips all over the place on the tiles trying to stay in front of me to throw her din dins in/on the nearest space available.
Today (Sunday) we all went into Almuñécar. The market was on but before that, we HAD to have Churros. What’s that, you ask?

While they were very nice, a bit too greasy for me 😂
Thankfully we walked all around town to work off the extra calories. First we visited the Sunday market, the kind that you see on some of those antique road shows, all sorts surrounded by a wee bit of tat too. Tippy made friends of a little old English lady in a wheelchair to make her day. Off to the Sexi fish salting factory from Roman times. The Sexi jewellery store. The Sexi Loro (parrots) 🦜 The Sexi Mar apartment block that looked like a very large breast… You get the idea. Too many jokes ‘could’ be made. But I’m mature and beyond that sort of thing…

The Moorish Palace garden was very cool. Full of old fossils too! Not me! How rude.
